EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, March 23, 2004, Management Dynamics, Inc., a leader in price and contract management solutions for the ocean transportation industry, today announced the appointment of Barry Williams as Chairman of the Board of Directors. The former Executive Director of P&O Nedlloyd brings over thirty years of IT and operational experience in the ocean transportation industry to Management Dynamics, as the company continues to expand its information services for carriers, NVOCCs and shippers.
Williams held numerous executive-level positions with P&O Nedlloyd with a focus on applying information technology and effective change management programs to realize key strategic initiatives. As Executive Director and member of the P&O Nedlloyd Executive Committee, he led successful programs to consolidate back office operations in China and India, diversify into freight forwarding and supply chain management services, and implement the company's strategic e-commerce systems. Responsible for the worldwide operations and business systems, his organization spanned a staff of 6,000 across 120 countries.

Mr. Williams' appointment as Chairman of the Board becomes effective May 23, 2004. As a board member, he will advise management on company strategy and direction, assist with investor relations, and help develop new markets.
