NextLinx Launches New Restricted Party Screening Service

Cost-efficient Service Affords Small Businesses Opportunity to Screen Customers, Suppliers Against Restricted Party Lists

ROCKVILLE, MD, July 19, 2005 - NextLinx Corporation, the leading provider of global trade content and management solutions, which was acquired by Management Dynamics in October 2005, today announced the availability of its Restricted Party Screening (RPS) Service providing small to medium sized businesses with an easy and affordable way to remain compliant with the U.S. Patriot Act and other homeland security and regulatory initiatives. Without purchasing or implementing software, customers can utilize this efficient and cost-effective service to ensure that they are not trading with illegal or denied parties.

The new RPS Service, geared towards small to medium sized companies, allows customers to periodically send NextLinx their customer lists to be screened against all official denied persons lists. NextLinx then returns a report to the customer with any potential matches. The service screens against regulatory lists issued by the Department of State, Department of Commerce, Department of Treasury, United Nations and European Union among many other government agencies to help customers avoid risks, penalties and sanctions resulting from doing business with denied parties.

"As the number of small to medium sized companies involved in exporting increases, the need to effectively manage exporting processes and remain compliant becomes crucial," said David Noah, president of Shipping Solutions. "By teaming up with NextLinx, Shipping Solutions can educate and ensure that customers remain compliant and manage their exports efficiently."

NextLinx is working with resellers such as Shipping Solutions to deliver the screening service to a growing number of small and medium sized companies, including Protomold, a manufacturer of rapid injection molds.

"Recognizing the critical need for complying with U.S. export regulations, we have selected the NextLinx Restricted Party Screening Service, offered through Shipping Solutions, to help us manage our outbound shipments," Mark Kubicek, Vice President of Operations at The Protomold Company, Inc. "The RPS Service allows us to quickly screen our growing database of customers and prospects to filter out those with whom we should not be doing business."

The U.S. Patriot Act, among many other security and regulatory rules, requires exporters to "Know Your Customer." Accordingly, NextLinx RPS Service allows customers to determine whether a company or individual has been placed on any official denied party or transshipment list, has been banned from import or export transactions, or has been sanctioned by a government for performing illegal acts and ensures that goods are destined for "friendly" end use.

"Fast-growing companies, embracing the global economy and engaging in international trade, recognize the need to maintain compliance with the increased security and government regulations," said Rajiv Uppal, founder, president and CEO of NextLinx Corporation. "Our new Restricted Party Screening Service offers small to medium sized customers the same benefit of our RPS Wizard, without the internal resources and expertise necessary to operate the Wizards, at an affordable price."
