Cary, NC, October 22, 2003 -- BridgePoint, Inc., the leading provider of global, multimode supply chain visibility and exception management solutions announced today that Mohawk Home, the leading supplier of flooring for both commercial and residential applications has selected its iPlex solution for visibility, alerting and exception management services. Mohawk Home will use iPlex to monitor and control shipments originating from the Far East to their distribution centers in the United States. They will also use BridgePoint's iPlex Analytics engine to optimize trade lane and trading partner performance across their supply chain.

It enables companies to proactively manage inbound and outbound shipments across their supply chain. BridgePoint's iPlex will enable Mohawk Home to improve performance on three primary areas:
- Shipment tracking and management. BridgePoint's iPlex immediately improves the availability and reliability of shipment information, including location, status and estimated time of arrival (ETA). The alerting and exception management tools enable companies to make adjustments in response to shipment delays or changes in delivery requirements.
- Customer service. With the improvements in shipment information, Mohawk Home will be able to provide better service to customers through online self-help tools, direct access to shipment data, and proactive notifications of potential delays or schedule changes.
- Carrier management and reporting. iPlex Performance Management and iPlex Analytical Reporting allows users to aggregate tactical and historical data into a single resource in order to measure the actual performance of their international supply chain. It dramatically simplifies the identification of trends over time and allows customers to make better informed decisions on which carriers provide the best service under certain variables, which systems and processes are optimal, and where value still exists.
