EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, May 1, 2001, Management Dynamics, Inc., a leading provider of contract management solutions for global shippers and ocean carriers, today announced the release of Management Dynamics Rate Explorer 8.0, a function-rich, Web-based solution for ocean carriers designed to improve pricing, contract and tariff management. More than 300 functional enhancements have been made to the most recent version of Rate Explorer, including a new Web-based user interface.

Management Dynamics' Rate Explorer is being used by many of the largest ocean carriers in the world to manage service contracts in a calculable format to achieve improved rating productivity, accuracy and business intelligence. The complete solution allows carriers to mange service contract negotiations, eliminate rating errors and improve productivity by auto-calculating contracts, maintaining rate histories, and auto-rating bookings and bills-of-lading (BOL).
