EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, November 1, 2001, Management Dynamics, Inc., a leading provider of contract management solutions for global shippers and ocean carriers, today announced that CMA CGM, The French Line, has selected Management Dynamics to improve its customer service and pricing activities. Rate Explorer solution will allow CMA CGM to improve customer service by accurately rating bills-of-lading using calculable service contracts, which in turn leads to fewer billing disputes and faster collection cycles. Under this agreement, Management Dynamics will perform all tariff and contract publishing activities as well as host the Rate Explorer solution. CMA CGM represents the eighth major shipping line that has selected Rate Explorer in 2001 and further underscores Management Dynamics' momentum and leadership in this market.

CMA CGM will use Rate Explorer to retrieve rates in rate tariffs and service contracts, publish and file tariffs and calculable service contracts, manage the price quotation process, and integrate with the carrier's liner management system for auto-rating of bookings and bills-of-lading.
