CertCo, Inc. Expands CertCo RMX Offering with Global Trade Content from NextLinx

Creates Integrated Trade Solution to Enhance Service Offering for International Banks and Marketplaces

NEW YORK, October 29, 2001 -- CertCo, Inc., a leading provider of security and risk management solutions for companies doing business online, today announced that its CertCo RMX offering now features NextLinx Corp.'s Global Knowledge database, the industry's most comprehensive source of global trade content. CertCo is partnering with NextLinx to offer the integrated trade solution as part of its broader service offering to international banks and marketplaces. In addition, NextLinx is testing CertCo's newly released CertSigner digital signing tool for integration with its product suite. NextLinx Corporation is the leading provider of global trade content and management solutions and was acquired by Management Dynamics in October 2005.

CertCo RMX helps global companies effectively address the security and transaction-risk issues associated with doing business online. A suite of easy-to-use, easily integrated risk management services, CertCo RMX gives all parties to a transaction access to the financial, business and credit information they need to close a deal without going offline. CertCo RMX integrates transaction services from leading providers, including First International Bank (FIB), BankServ, Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX), SupplierInsight, Dun & Bradstreet and Media General Financial Services with CertCo's own public key infrastructure (PKI) technology, to provide one-click access to the financial, business and credit information needed to conduct high-value e-transactions with confidence.

With the addition of services from NextLinx, CertCo RMX will offer banks and marketplaces a comprehensive trading solution that streamlines and accelerates business processes on an international basis. With NextLinx's Global Knowledge, the most complete source for global trade rules and regulations, CertCo RMX users will have the ability to classify products, screen shipments and orders for denied parties, calculate landed costs prior to purchase, maintain letters of credit and generate documents to ensure compliance with government regulations. The Global Knowledge database is updated and analyzed by more than 500 resources worldwide, and strives to maintain the most accurate trade compliance rules that help commercial institutions make informed purchasing decisions.

"With the addition of NextLinx's Global Knowledge database to the CertCo RMX offering, companies can ensure that each of their transactions is fully compliant," said Lynde Richards, vice president of global business development at NextLinx. "This offering will allow companies to realize their potential for global business by giving them access to cutting-edge tools and technologies that will enable them to quickly deliver results and increase revenues."

NextLinx also is testing CertCo's newly released CertSigner product for integration with its Global Knowledge suite, to allow its customers to digitally sign documents that ensure compliance with global trade regulations. A complete, Web-based digital signing solution, CertSigner eliminates the need for a traditional PKI within a trusted online community. CertSigner is an easy-to-integrate means for implementing legally binding digital signature capabilities -- without the complexities and costs associated with traditional PKI-based signing solutions. With CertSigner, online business partners in single- or multi-CA environments can digitally sign any Web-based form. CertSigner aggregates all major PKI functions, including key and certificate generation, revocation/suspension, digital signing, signature verification and certificate validation, and packages them into a seamless solution.

"Financial services providers can benefit from the full complement of services offered through CertCo RMX to enhance and streamline e-transactions for their customers and partners," said June Yee Felix, chairman and CEO of CertCo. "By adding NextLinx's unsurpassed global trade compliance solutions to the mix, we are providing international companies with a single, Internet-based source for their transaction and logistical needs."
