Kahala Posts Group (KPG) Awards Global Trade Management Contract to Amber Road

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ, May 15, 2013 -- Amber Road, a leading provider of global trade management (GTM) solutions, today announced it has been selected by the Kahala Posts Group (KPG), an alliance of 10 postal administrations around the world, to increase their competitiveness in the international delivery market. KPG member organizations include the Australian Postal Corporation, China Post Group, Correos y Telegrafos SAE, Groupe La Poste, Hongkong Post, Japan Post Co., Ltd., Korea Post, Royal Mail Group, Ltd, Singapore Post Limited and the U.S. Postal Service.

In the agreement signed with the International Post Corporation (IPC) Group acting on behalf of KPG, Amber Road's GTM solutions will help KPG members by enabling them to offer additional international trade tools and services to their customers.

Global trade management key to growth plans
As import and export volumes increase around the world, even small companies seek to reduce costs by sourcing from low cost suppliers and grow revenues by selling into foreign markets. By offering Amber Road's GTM capabilities to its customers, KPG members implementing this solution will enable individual shippers, small businesses, medium-sized companies and large enterprises alike to more effectively manage the complexities of cross-border trade: screen for restricted parties, calculate total landed costs, identify and produce global shipping documents and perform trade compliance checks. By offering these additional services, KPG members bolster their competitiveness in the international package delivery market.

KPG chose Amber Road based on the strength of its two decades of experience in automating global trade, the depth and scope of the company's global trade database, and the proven scalability of its solutions.

In addition to enhancing the ability of Posts to serve the growing international eCommerce market, KPG members implementing the Amber Road solution will be able to provide users with full visibility into product classification and landed cost and help ensure compliance with a myriad of dynamic global trade regulations.
